ELENDO is a UK-based FemTech start-up founded by El, with Endo. Making heat relief luxe & considered for women experiencing cycle-related discomfort & pelvic pain.
The idea came to El as she lay on the sofa, hot water bottle on her back, legs up the wall after taking prescription pain killers for Endometriosis.

The idea came from recognising that, despite growing awareness of women’s health especially Endometriosis, existing solutions feel clinical, inconvenient or disconnected from the everyday needs of the people using them. We wanted to create something that combines luxury functionality with the comfort, quality and confidence of a underwear brand.
ELENDO’s first product concept is a luxury, high-waisted supportive long boxer short featuring pockets designed to hold removable bespoke shaped heat inserts for the various areas effected by women's cycles NOT JUST ABDOMINAL.
The goal is to integrate targeted warmth into a garment that feels luxe to put on, breathable, comfort and wearable throughout the day, rather than relying solely on separate heat pads or bulky devices. The brand is being developed around the principle of “Heat for what hurts”, with a focus on thoughtful design and user-centric innovation.
The initial development phase will focus on researching suitable fabrics and heating technologies, engaging specialist manufacturers, creating prototypes and testing comfort, fit, temperature performance and product safety. Customer research will help validate the design through focus groups, understand demand and so we can bring you the best possible product.
Our longer-term vision is to develop ELENDO into an innovative FemTech brand that uses technology to respond more personally to women’s comfort needs. Future development will look to include include app-controlled wearable heating or TENS technology, allowing users to adjust heat settings and personalise their experience. Further opportunities could include additional garment styles, sustainable heating solutions and products designed around different stages of the menstrual cycle and wellbeing.
The Start Up Loan would help fund product development, prototyping, materials research, manufacturer engagement, testing and early-stage brand development. My ambition is to build a commercially sustainable UK business that combines premium design with meaningful innovation, while contributing to a FemTech sector that better recognises women’s experiences and needs.
